A Few Days of Rallying Can Make a Big Difference

For teams preparing for the Great Race, the Spring Rally is a valuable chance to practice in a real event setting before June. Drivers and navigators can work on timing, communication, and consistency while also putting the car through several days of rallying.

It is also a good opportunity to uncover mechanical, equipment, or setup issues while there is still time to address them.

The Spring Rally is not limited to Great Race competitors. Anyone interested in time-speed-distance rallying, additional practice, or spending a few days rallying with the Great Race community is welcome to participate.

Cloverleaf Format

Chattanooga Is Home Base

The 2027 event will use a cloverleaf format. Teams will head out from Chattanooga each day and return to the same home base.

That means participants can enjoy a multi-day rally without packing up and moving to a different hotel every night.

One Home Base Stay in Chattanooga throughout the event.

Daily Rallying Head out each day and return to Chattanooga.

Less Packing No nightly hotel changes along the route.
