Every summer, competitors see the checkpoints, finish lines, scoring tables, lead cars, sweep crews, announcers, photographers, hospitality teams, and countless other moving pieces that make the Great Race happen.
Behind all of it is a dedicated group of Rally Staff who spend long days on the road making sure the event keeps moving from city to city. Some leave before the competitors ever see the starting line. Others follow behind the last car. Some work at checkpoints, prepare the next stop, calculate scores, move equipment, help participants, sell merchandise, take photos, tell the story of the event, and handle the hundreds of details that happen along the way.
Many of these faces return year after year, giving their time and energy because they love the Great Race and the community that surrounds it.
