The Passing of A Great Race Family Member

Mary Bitterman joined the Great Race family in 2011, as a navigator with her husband Michael in their beautiful 1966 Dodge Charger. Since then, the couple have competed in several other vintage car rally events, including additional Great Race events, and have made lots of friends along the way. Unfortunately, Mary was diagnosed with breast cancer, forcing her to fight a battle that no one wants to fight. Despite her condition, she paid us a visit during the early days of this year's Great Race. We're so thankful for the Bitterman's and their passion for the Great Race. Mary passed away earlier this week--her suffering is now over, but that doesn't make it any easier to say goodbye to a great friend.
