The Hemmings Motor News Great Race presented by Hagerty is completely full and a waiting list has been established, director Jeff Stumb has announced. It marks the earliest the Great Race has sold out in its 32-year history. We have had a remarkable early turnout of veterans, especially from those who were rookies in the 2014 Great Race, Stumb said. And we have 37 rookie teams for 2015 already signed up. There still may be a good chance to enter the 2015 Great Race from the waiting list. Last year, we had five teams that entered but couldnt make the race due to weddings or health concerns, so I urge anyone who is not already entered to get on the waiting list. Then mail a check for $500 to the Great Race Headquarters: 1317 Chestnut Street, Chattanooga, TN 37402 Potential entrants will be notified of available spots in the order waiting list checks are received. If your team is not added to the 2015 Great Race roster, you will have the opportunity to either apply your $500 check to the 2016 entry fee, or opt for a full refund.
