Friday Great Race Action in St. Paul

We had some major storms last night and a chance of rain again today...bad news for our racers in open cockpit cars! Despite the soggy night/morning, we made it to the Back to the '50s Weekend early in the morning and spent the day at the event. We also hopped out on the highway for the Hagerty Trophy Run to get some practice in for the big day tomorrow and had special guest Wayne Carini (from Chasing Classic Cars TV show) join the fun. AND he got an Ace, with the help of Navigator, Theresa Coker! After spending a few hours on the road, we made it back to the Minnesota State Fairgrounds for the Parc Ferme, and then the kick off reception. And THEN the rain came! Needless to say, it was a long drive back to the hotel.
