2026 Hemmings Great Race presented by Coker Tire - Trophy Run

We're in Springfield, Illinois for the start of the 2026 Hemmings Great Race presented by Coker Tire! We've planned for well over a year for this Route 66 celebration route, and the city of Springfield has been so great! We're excited to kick things off tomorrow morning, but before our Grand Start on South 6th Street downtown, we had to do our annual warm-up rally that we call the Trophy Run.

This year, the Trophy Run was sponsored by X-Cup Legacy and it featured a scenic drive through Illinois farm land after we grabbed lunch in Jacksonville. Some of the roads were narrow, some were bumpy and some weren't even paved, but we survived it and made it back to Springfield to regroup for tomorrow's huge green flag ceremony.
