Big Honors for an Outstanding Great Racer
Back in 2012, we were delighted to see Alan and Mary Travis arrive in Traverse City, Michigan with their 1907 Renault. The car was a handful, with major mechanical maintenance and repairs needed before and after each leg of the race, but it was one of the most popular cars of the event. Nearly two years after it completed the Great Race, the car is still in the limelight, as it took home the Director's Choice award at the inaugural Arizona Concours d'Elegance.
