Potential Great Race Cars For Sale

January 30, 2019

There are several cars for sale that may be interesting for Great Racers as potential rally vehicles or just as historic pieces of Great Race history for a collection. First is a Model T that was very famous in the 1990s in the Great Race. A fellow named Rossi Morris, the Lone Racer, campaigned this car by himself in two Great Races from coast to coast. He was from New Mexico and the car has been on display at J&R Vintage Automobile Museum in Rio Rancho. The museum is run by Great Racers Evonna and the late Gab Joiner and their family. The museum is closing later this year and the cars are being sold off by Gab’s son-in-law, Bobby Roy. The price is a bargain for what it is at $10,000. Howard Sharp has sold several cars through the years that have made wonderful Great Race vehicles, including the 1932 Ford Dirt Track Racer that Trevor Stahl and Josh Hull have participated with in the last four events. Howard has a 1915 Chalmers he is selling with an asking price of $30,000. Call Howard at 585-738-1415 or email him at [email protected] for information about his large 7-passenger touring Chalmers.

And finally, Great Race Director, Jeff Stumb has a 1924 Nash Roadster that is for sale. It is an Advanced Six and is a big car. He is asking $19,000. Contact Jeff directly at 423-385-4414 or at [email protected] for more information.
