4th Annual “Auction for Autism”

April 4, 2011

Attention fellow Great Racers and Friends!

We are only 68 days away from the 4th Annual “Auction for Autism” being held on Friday, June 10th at the Coker Tire Museum the night before we leave on the Hemmings Motor News Great Race.

It’s time to let me know what fellow Racers are going to bring AND time for everyone else to send your donations!
And what, you ask, should I donate? This motley crew loves anything CAR – services, car care, books, as long as it has to do with cars it is a winner. The other thing this group loves is anything that fuels their body – Wine, Beer (last year a case of microbrew sold for $180!), and “shine”. Or Food … any kind of food (a $50 basket of Mrs. Renfro’s Salsa with chips sold for $120!) And remember, anyone who is crazy enough to compete in the Great Race is also crazy about old “stuff”, history and experiences. Hey you new “Rookie” Great Racers – feel free to contact me with any questions!

Donations are starting to come in and I will do my best to mention each and every donation including a big shout out to the donor! Check out our auction website, courtesy of Tofino Auction Software, at http://vcra.tofinoauctions.com/auctionforautism11/homepages/show.

Contact me with your donations NOW @ [email protected]

  • Pat & Pat,
Brian and i did the 2005 race in the 60 Falcon, and wish we could be doing it this year. Looking forward to seeing you in Hershey. Check out Brian’s website, onelapfordogs.com as he leaves on the 29th for Tire Rack, Indiana to start his one lap america race. Good luck in the race.
