One of the busiest days for our Great Race staff is the Thursday before the race hits the road. Thursday is always registration and tech inspection day. We’re working with 120 teams to get them signed in and handle the tedious process of technical and safety inspections as well as the always important task of decal application. We had a big crew of workers and local volunteers and it was a long day of action to get it done. Our crew is awesome and we celebrated a successful day with a wonderful dinner and reception at the Jacksonville Zoo. Tomorrow is another busy day but we wanted to share a few of our favorite photos from a busy day before the 2017 Hemmings Motor News Great Race presented by Hagerty kicks off!

Enjoyed seeing all cars & trucks and talking with drivers & navigators. Brought back memories, both personal and what makes America great. Thanks to all sponsors who help us enjoy the past, today!
