Today’s lunch stop was in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the Unser racing museum. The museum was simply amazing in every way possible. From motorbikes to Pikes Peak hillclimbers to old cars, and trucks this museum had it all! Oh, and don’t forget about the trophies. There definitely was not a shortage on any type of trophy there… It was a great stop filled with beautiful sunny, clear skies as well as lots of people.

After enjoying Albuquerque for as long as we possibly could we began the short drive to Gallup. After arriving in Gallup there was a small amount of rain, but nothing that could stop the Great Race from carrying on. As the 103 cars that started this morning began to file in the high scores did too revealing what a difficult day it had been. After dinner we walked over to enjoy Native Americans do a few of their spiritual dances, and songs. It was very interesting, and provided as great entertainment until eight tonight. All in all it was an amazing day as always!! Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings on the Hemmings Motor News Great Race presented by Hagerty!
