Going through some of this old Great Race stuff has been fun, and it has made at least one person happy in the process. Take a look!
Here are four more items of interest I found rummaging through the Great Race archives: an original 1986 jumpsuit from the Los Angeles to New York Great American Race complete with hat; a large photo that used to hang on the wall of the Great Race office in Dallas of a Ford Model A speedster taking the green flag at the start of the 1988 Great American Race from Disneyland to Boston (notice Minnie Mouse and Donald Duck next to the car and Cinderellas castle in the background); a large framed photo of a 1930 Stutz boattail speedster at the finish in New York City of the 1985 Great American Race (which started in L.A.); and a poster from the 1990 Great American Race from the Buick Open in Westchester, N.Y., to Disneyland (I made Buick fan Bob Coker in North Carolina happy when I sent him a couple of dozen for him and his Buick friends).

This is Tom Kucera navigating and Cal Woolsey owner and driver in the #33 Ford Model A. I was part of the support crew that year. Great photo and memories.
I am in search of any photos or footage from The 1988 race of

My father John passed away in January 2019. I remember him getting the car ready for the race and all the great fun we had preparing for the big day. Please contact me if you happen to come across anything.
