“My name is Travis Evraets, I was the support team using a Budget rental truck for the 1960 Fiat 600 Multipla driven by Jim Collins(this guy), navigated by Craig Stephens(that guy) in the 2013 Mississippi Great Race. The Fiat team is returning to compete again and I am returning as part of the media team capturing the race from the air for the first time with a R/C quad copter.

Thanks to the help of Jim Bonnardel, president of the worlds largest r/c electric flying club located in San Diego who helped me get acquire a DJI Inspire 1. A fully gyro-stabilized 1080HD camera mounted to a carbon fiber aircraft that can fly up to 70mph and record perfectly smooth videos and pictures. A practice video can be seen at: . Thanks to Jeff Stumb the Great Race Director and Jason White, who in charge of the media team for taking the time to hear my idea and make it a reality.”
