Bill Croker came all the way from California to Hershey, Pennsylvania, last week to be part of the AACA Hershey Region’s Fall Meet experience, but he also came to help promote the Great Race. Bill, the head of the Great Race’s Rookie Mentor program for several years, spent time at the Great Race space on the Chocolate Field and filled in for Director Jeff Stumb when he was out promoting the 2014 event.

Bill is shown in the photo with Lloyd Hodgin and Terry Brinson with the just-released 2014 Great Race poster, which shows the route from Maine to Florida for next year. Lloyd was Bill’s support crew last year, but he was also the man everyone saw at each stop behind the wheel of the Leslie Special, Tony Curtis’ car from the 1965 movie The Great Race. Terry was Bill’s partner in the 2007 Great Race, and Terry was in Hershey showing his beautiful Chrysler Imperial Airflow at the show on Saturday.
