We kicked off the 2018 Hemmings Motor News Great Race presented by Hagerty with some pre-race activities. Many of our racers, staff and support crews arrived in Buffalo, New York today, so it was a good time to get together for the first gathering of the event. We did so with a relaxed dinner in the “annex” of the Pierce Arrow Museum. The back building features some upcoming feature cars and projects in the works, so it was cool to get a behind the scenes look while also enjoying a great meal. Check out some of our photos from the Wednesday night dinner, as well as some photos from the parking lot and a group shot of our 2018 Great Race staff.

Will the museum be open Thursday or Friday evening for the cars to be viewed befoe the race? Thank you in advance.
What time is the Lockport run on Friday? And when/where is the best time for people to see the cars before the race?
Will the route be available to the public when the tour starts so the cars can be viewed along the route?
