On the eve of the start of Great Race 2015, today has been awesome! The weather has continued in rain mode…and lots of it. With flash flood warnings throughout the day, I was concerned for the teams that competed in the Hagerty Trophy Run throughout the rain. While that was going on, my newest colleague, Mike Williams and I prepared for tomorrow’s start in Kirkwood, MO.
On their return from the competiton, we met with each team, reviewed their information that we’ll be using as we introduce the teams starting tomorrow. We continued to work with Team Japan to to learn as much as we could to make them feel welcome.
Tonight’s social hour was a blast! Rock ‘N Roll 60s theme with appetizers a great music. When the winners of the various classes were announced it became clear this is going to be the closest contested Great Race in years. What a treat to see recently retired three time Great Race Champions, the Jasons, here for the start.
