You could not ask for any better ambassadors for the Great Race than Howard and Douglas Sharp! You can see the passion and determination in their eyes. They worked hard for that win in 2011 driving a 100 year old car. It is that same spirit of determination and moxie that all of the Great Race entrants carry with them each day that makes the Great Race the Great Race.

The smiles on those faces really exemplifies the passion of the Great Race. As a 22 year veteran I think we have done it all but we keep trying to do better. We live for that smile every year. Great Racing should be on everyone’s bucket list!

Throughout my “Great Race” miles I have experienced every emotion possible as a competitor. Tears of Joy, Tears of Sadness, Tears of Anger, but I must agree with JeanAnn there has denfinitely been MILES and MILES of SMILES and I certainly am looking forward to many more.
