Bill and Buddy Green decided a couple of years ago to jump in their 1965 Mustang and do the 2012 Great Race around the Great Lakes. It will be a one-time deal, they thought. But before they got out of Canada and back into the U.S., they were already thinking about another car for the 2013 Great Race. In that event, the two were a hit in their 1957 Ford Fireball Roberts NASCAR.
Like most of us who are hooked on the Great Race, they began thinking about a third car for their third Great Race in 2014. And what better car for a guy out of North Carolina (Buddy) than a General Lee-themed 1969 Dodge Charger, complete with the Rebel Flag on the roof. Beau and Luke Duke would be proud!
