Great Racers know Jeff Fredette as the hard-charging driver of his yellow and black 1933 Ford pickup truck who finished second overall in the 2014 event with his son, Eric. But Jeff has another competitive side that uses only two wheels. And he has been as successful at that as he has at the Great Race. For the last 34 years, AMA Hall of Fame inductee Jeff Fredette has been one of the representatives from the United States International Six Days Enduro (ISDE), a motorcycle event held in different parts of the world each year and drawing competitors from 30 countries.. For the first time in his distinguished career, Jeff failed to finish the 2014 ISDE in San Juan, Argentina, when his Kawasaki KLX ingested sand during a transition stage, seizing the engine beyond repair.

Our friends at Hemmings did a nice piece on Jeff including some great photos in a recent edition of the Hemmings Daily.
