Spencer Darby, a Great Racer from Wisconsin contacted us earlier this week to let us know his 1929 Ford Station Wagon (Woody) is for sale. It’s a great setup for a Great Racer, as it has successfully completed three Great Races, and Spencer said he’d love to see it complete a few more. He also said that he could list it through Hemmings or Ebay, but wanted to first offer it to a Great Racer! I remember “Splinter Box”. I also have fond memories of visiting Great Racer, Ian Smith while visiting Scotland a few years ago. At the regular Tuesday car show at Kanata, we regularly see a similar vehicle, one which has been in the same family since new!
